The Center for Advanced Ophthalmic Care at the Illinois Eye Institute provides medical and surgical diagnostics and treatment for patients with complicated eye disease.

Patient services include evaluations and management for:

• Comprehensive eye surgery/cataracts/intraocular lenses.
• Glaucoma and ocular hypertention.
• Disorders of the retina and vitreous.
• Cornea and external eye disease.
• Neuro-ophthalmic disorders.
• Orbit/oculoplastics.
• 24-hour urgent eye care service.

The following advanced diagnostic testing is available:

• Digital ocular imaging.
  
• Stereo fundus photography.
• Ocular electrophysiology.
• Ultrasonography.
• Ocular angiography.
• Optical coherence tomography (OCT).
• Comprehensive color vision analysis.
• Pachymetry.
• Short wavelength automated perimetry.

In some cases, patients may qualify for participation in clinical trials.
