Any time a chemical enters the eye, it has the potential to cause vision loss and must be acted upon immediately. If you encounter a chemical injury, do the following immediately:

1. Irrigate the eye copiously with tap water.
2. Seek medical attention immediately.

It is also recommended that protective eyewear be used whenever handling liquid or powder chemicals.
